They know how to choose appropriate chemicals, instruments, and equipment and are able to use and service instruments and equipment according to instructions. They know how to work in accordance with laboratory quality and environmental systems in an accountable manner. They comply with work, operating, and occupational safety instructions. They make use of information technology in their work. They can assess the reliability of results and their own performance. They are able to develop their vocational skills and work performance by means of good basic knowledge in mathematics and natural sciences.
